About Avionics Support
Avionics Support Ltd is a newly formed company which deals with the manufacture and repair of aircraft wiring harnesses.
Built on over twenty five years experience gained with a leading UK Helicopter company, this newly formed workshop facility has been set up to fill a gap in the aviation world with regard to small scale manufacture, repair and fit of aircraft loom assemblies.
The company hopes to build on its previous experience and would like to hear from customers who might require the following:

Avionics Support has invested in the latest wire printing technology. The Spectrum CAPRIS 50-200 is designed for processing single core wires and jacketed multi core cables employed in the aerospace and other critical industries. It offers mark, measure and cut capabilities, and is able to process wire and cable from 26 AWG up to 6 AWG. Marking a single character at a time, the CAPRIS 50-200 provides maximum print flexibility, allowing for up to 100 characters per identification code in both horizontal and vertical print formats. In addition to the main wire ident, the system is also able to automatically mark additional information directly on the wire ends such as connector and pin numbers and wire routing information.
- Non aggressive UV laser marking.
- No insulation damage.
- Complies with SAE AS50881 - no need for insulation integrity testing after marking.
- Ultimate mark performance resists hot hydraulic fluid, fuel, abrasion.
- No pre or post treatment of wire, identification marks remain clear and legible in service.
- Highly legible print - ergonomic font complies fully with SAE ARP 5607 "Legibility of Print on Aerospace Wires and Cables."
With the Spectrum CAPRIS 20-500 the company can provide wiring assemblies which satisfy the most stringent of regulatory requirements and can provide JAA form ones for all work undertaken.
A.S.Ltd are also interested in third party enquiries in relation to future requirements with regard to EXIS underwater escape lighting system manufacture and support and IHUMS
(Integrated Health and Usage Monitoring System) component manufacture and support. Competitive rates are available for accelerometer calibration / repair.
